Dental Appointment Notifications – On this page, you can select exactly how you want to be notified of your new patient leads. They can come in from your dental website, find-a-dentist listings, dental directory marketing, and more.
Each of your locations has a variety of contact addresses (email, fax, SMS/text, voice) deliver your new dental patient lead notifications.
In addition, for each location, indicate how you want to be notified of incoming leads.  Choose different sources such as a telephone call, or from a form on your dental practice website.
The “Notifications” area of the “Appointment Management” section is a very important part of the Control Panel. Here, you select exactly how you’ll be notified of new patient leads. You must set this up for your lead tracking to work properly!
Locations
At the top of the page, you’ll see a list of all your locations. You can edit the contact information for each location by clicking the pencil icon. Enter your email address, fax number, cell phone number for text messages, and a telephone number for voice messages. This information will probably be different for each of your practice locations.
Click on any location, and the “Notification” options for that location displays on the bottom half of the page. You’ll see a list of all the various types of leads that your IDA website can generate ÔÇô things like Appointment Requests, Emails to the Doctor, or Newsletter Signups. For each type of lead, you choose how you’d like to be notified. Check the boxes to indicate if you’d like to get an automatic email, fax, text message or voicemail.
The contact information you enter here will not be overwritten if you change your contact information elsewhere in the Control Panel. And remember, even if you add your personal email or cell phone number to the Notifications list, patients never see the contact information you enter here in the “Notifications” area.
